Redeem Rewards at Target
Hey there—it’s Erin on the loyalty team. I've been seeing tons of ideas come through about redeeming rewards at Target, and let me tell you, you’re not the only one. I’ve been secretly voting this idea up for months years now. So I’m thrilled to share that starting this weekend you are now able to not only earn Stars at Target, but redeem your Birthday and Lucky Dozen Rewards. Even sweeter, from October 17-19 you will earn a Bonus Star when you pay with your registered Starbucks Card in Target locations just because we love you… and Target! I can’t wait! Because aimlessly wandering through Target looking for that snowman my kid CAN’T live without … more »
Coconut Milk Test Expansion
Thousands of you have voted and commented about bringing a non-dairy, non-soy milk option to stores, making it one of the most popular My Starbucks Ideas of all time . And we’ve heard you loud and clear! We’re excited and proud to announce Coconut Milk has joined the Starbucks non-dairy milk family in select cities. Through much tinkering and many blind taste tests, we found that the rich, creaminess of Coconut Milk is the best complement to our hot, iced and Frappuccino® beverages with none of the allergens of almond milk. Following a successful summer test in select stores in Cleveland and Oregon, we were excited to continue to offer Coconut Milk in those markets and expand … more »
Kind Bars are Back
You asked and we listened - KIND bars are returning to participating Starbucks. We’re offering three delicious flavors: Dark Chocolate, Nuts & Sea Salt, Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate + Protein, and Blueberry, Vanilla & Cashew . All of the bars are gluten-free and made with wholesome and delicious ingredients like nuts, fruits, honey, and spice. I’m a huge fan. They’ve saved me on multiple occasions when I didn’t have time to make breakfast, and the Dark Chocolate, Nuts & Sea Salt bar paired with a decaf latte after a long day? Pretty much the best thing ever. Thanks for all your suggestions—I’m just as excited about this one as you are!
Bienvenido a Miami!
Starbucks has stores in cities around the world, and we continually work to ensure each and every location reflects the culture and personality of its city. So naturally, we loved your ideas about offering food and drinks inspired by local cuisine . We’re excited to announce that our Miami stores are now offering their own unique selection of food—we used the traditional Cuban flavors of guava and cream cheese to create our flaky Guava Cream Cheese Croissant Blossom (awesome with a morning coffee). Or for an afternoon treat, I recommend the Dulce de Leche Tart with Coconut and rich milky caramel in a buttery shortbread crust. We are also excited to introduce new grab-and-go desserts … more »
Introducing the Mini Frappuccino
Frappuccinos are delicious, but even the biggest of fans have days when a full portion of that blended bliss is just a bit too much. Plus, mini things are the best. Thanks to your great ideas , you will be able to enjoy your favorite blended beverage in a smaller size starting this fall. Mini Frappuccinos are just right for a little treat with limited brain freeze. The 10 oz option will be tested in Houston, TX, and Denver, CO, with potential for a national rollout next summer.
Digital tipping for Android
We are pleased to announce our all-new Starbucks® app for Android devices, available now in the Google Play Store . We redesigned the app and added new features inspired by discussions right here on My Starbucks Idea. It’s both inspiring and humbling to be reminded that the mobile apps are part of so many people’s daily routines. Here’s what’s new: • Digital Tipping: We’ve heard you loud and clear on this one, After you make a purchase through the app at one of our participating US stores, you’ll be notified of the option to leave a tip. If you don’t want to see those notifications, you can turn them off in Settings. • Shake to Pay: Sometimes … more »
Designed By You
It all started with an idea to get people excited about our reusable tumbler. We knew a fresh design would be key—but what to feature on this unique canvas? For the answer we looked to you. We asked all artists, drawers, and everyday doodlers to submit a design they'd like to see featured on our reusable tumbler. We were simply overwhelmed by the response. Over 4,000 inspired, creative, and amazingly unique designs came pouring in through our social media channels. The very first #WhiteCupContest had begun. Selecting just one was incredibly difficult, but there was something about the design by Brita Lynn Thompson that grabbed us. It was unlike anything we've ever done on a cup … more »
