Who Is This MSI Team, Anyway?

Thought we would give you a quick introduction to the MSI team. My Starbucks Idea is supported by 50+ partners across the company. This team is headed up by Alexandra Wheeler, Cecile Hudon, and Matthew Guiste.

Alexandra Wheeler (screen name: sbx_Alex) – I have the good fortune of leading the MSI team and program for Starbucks. I’ve been thrilled by the growth of this community and its level of engagement around so many great ideas. The voice of this community is represented (and craved!) in daily conversations at all levels of the company. My team and I continue to look for ways to ensure your voice is heard, to move ideas into action and to evolve the online experience in ways that are meaningful.

Cecile Hudon (screen name: sbx_bean) - I am the online community manager. I have the coolest job. I get to work with all of our amazing Idea Partners who monitor the day to day activity of MSI. It is a great opportunity to participate in your idea generation and hear from our customers and partners first hand in “real time”. When not monitoring the site, we share your ideas with all of Starbucks - the popular ideas and the “sleepers”.

Matthew Guiste (screen name: sbx_MATT) —I am the program manager for MSI. You’ll see me in a lot of the comments and posts. I am on point for delivering the expanded and enhanced features of the site, as well as making sure we get ideas implemented from your suggestions. Essentially I make sure your voice is being heard, both with onsite improvements and within the broader Starbucks Company.

Look for us in the comments and say “Hi”.

We love Starbucks and have owned shares since they went public. The investment has been very good until this year with baby boomers retiring nd retirement funds selling of huge blocks of stock. I have tried to contact the board using the address in the annual report. Each time the letters come back. Why?  Unless a fair dividend is paid to stock holders the stock will not recover. Microsoft has stayed much steadier through this recession because they do pay a dividend. I hope you will reply or put me in touch with someone that will hear what I am saying.

Thanks, polly1928

I noticed on V2V that Alex, Cecile and I have something in common. We each have 2 children. Too bad we dont live close by. We could have our own little playgroup. LOL

Matt, do you have children?

I see my request on your comments but no reply to the questions. It is not fair for stock holers to suffer losses of over half their total account this year because Starbucks does not pay a dividend. The big retirement accounts will not reinvest in the stock until a decent dividend is paid because they have to pay retirements to so many baby boomers NOW.  Microsoft found this out and have stayed much more stable through this recession. The only reply I got was that the stock had rizen 42:00 this week. big deal. As a stock holder I also want access to the board of directors. As I said before we love Starbucks and will continue to go thee and give the gift cards.

Thank You. polly1928

Hi Cecile,

I didn't know you were sbx_bean. I sent an email to you about me being in Seattle in May and you said if I went to info@mystarbucksidea and sent you an email that maybe we could meet for coffee when I'm there. Well, I got an email back and it said that this is customer service and we aren't even in Seattle. I feel so crazy bc I didn't know you and Cecile (AKA Celine were the same person.)Please email me.
