There have been many great ideas posted about re-usable cups and mugs. In addition to ideas for encouraging the use of ceramic serveware in the stores, many have discussed the option of bringing your own mug in for your to-go beverage. First of all, this is a great idea that we fully support and encourage, as Cindy has so enthusiastically stated in her great responses. To encourage using your own mug, Starbucks has long offered a $0.10 discount on your beverage when you bring in your own cup. Hello! Since the introduction of My Starbucks Idea and Starbucks Card Rewards this spring, it appears as if the two have been inseparable. Like all good relationships, the Rewards team has been listening to the many thoughts you have shared with us on MSI.
