Some ideas recently put under review include: Coffee Traveler, Sugar-free Mocha, and Rewards Mug.

Some terms you may see on the site:
• under review means there’s a team of partners actively working on the idea to see if it is viable for the business and relevant and meaningful to our customers and partners.
• reviewed means the idea has been discussed and a decision made not to pursue the idea at this time.
• coming soon means it will be in our stores in the coming weeks.
• launched means we have turned your idea into action.

We look forward to hearing your ideas and turning many into action in 2009.

1. I have never seen a customer feedback site as wonderful as this.

2. I appreciate that sometimes the Starbucks partners put in comments.

3.  I have never felt LESS HEARD by any corporation in my life.

You never address our real concerns, or so it seems.

Your firm is making decisions that seem incredibly self-destructive, and you just go limp when we suggest changes.

E.g.  If people are not buying decaf in the afternoon, IMPROVE THE DECAF!  You make far better decaf's than Pike.  You know this.

This seems more like a place that you want us to simply vent rather than taking our suggestions seriously.

Agree as well. I feel like the comments and suggestions are often ignored or put in a random circular file somewhere.

Wow Art M. that is beautifully said! I was going to comment on what an adorable group photo that is, and saw your post and then suddenly felt like my post would be shallow. It is a very nice group photo.

Agreed!  I have a great idea.  Since freshly brewed coffee is one of life's joys, don't regularly brew any coffee at all.  Have all coffee drinkers wait 5 minutes for that rare treat!  After all, while they wait, they can look over the unwanted merchandise, worry about how they will get to work on time, then thank you  profusely for the opportunity to wait once again for a dreary cup of weak Pikes Place.  YEchhhh!!!!!

This is my first visit to this site and I've already noticed within the first 5 minutes here that the partners' and customers' concerns aren't taken seriously by Starbucks.  Our views and comments represent extremely large numbers in the buying world and the experience of this site only makes me more dissatisfied with the diminishing Starbucks brand and only adds to my frustration as a Starbucks customer who is searching for a new coffeehouse.  This site seems very superficial and pointless.  Starbucks is failing big time.  If it wants to stick around, apparently it's at the point where leadership in its entirety must be changed to a leadership that actually listens to its customers.  If sales are low, has Starbucks ever tried...DUN DUNN DUNNNNN!!!...lowering its price?  I know, I know; that's such a crazy idea, huh.  Oh, and how about keeping things that work, like melon syrup?  Oh, and how about free, immediately accessible wifi since I'm already paying and arm and a leg for a frikkin' drink here.  Thanks!  :)

As a partner, all I can say is that this site is frusterating and it makes me sad.   :(

I only hope that a good attitude and legendary services continues to bring customers back...

How many customers have you lost? And I agree with you but I am a customer. :-D

OK, so this site is not being run the way that I would run it.

I would provide more direct feedback to clients suggestions.

But this is not my site.

So from now on I will comply with the request of the owners, which I interpret as:

1.  Make suggestions.

2. Avoid drama.

3. Don't expect feedback on a routine basis.

Fair enough?

Big C, come say hello in this thread. :-(  Take a little drama with a grain of salt and just know it comes from our passion for the coffee.  We're all just overly-caffeinated.
