Happy Birthday MSI!

My Starbucks Idea celebrates its one year anniversary today.  You have shared over 70,000 ideas.  In the first year 94 ideas have been put into action and 25 of those have launched including – Instant Coffee, Venti Travel Cup, and Bring Back Tea Lattes.  Your ideas have inspired us to think of relevant and creative ways to enhance our Rewards programs - including free Wi-Fi and a birthday beverage.

Since we launched 12 months ago the site has added some new features like the ability to vote down an idea and consolidate repeat ideas - ideas that you submitted early on.

Currently there are 56 ideas under review and 10 are coming soon.  Look for launch announcements later this spring.  Some exciting things are on the way in the Starbucks Card, Food, and Other Experience Ideas categories.

MSI is about a community collaborating and telling us which ideas are important to you.  Thanks for keeping the community vibrant and ideas brewing.  Keep the ideas coming. What idea should we launch next?  Tell us.  It could happen.

Happy Birthday MSI! :-)  It's been quite a year.

@9cats - MSI doesn't have full profile capability. You can create a fun and more detailed Starbucks profile on this site here - http://www.v2v.net/starbucks.  TODAY is the birthday of this site. It was launched one year ago. It's flourished into quite a community with so many great people making it come alive! It wouldn't work without all of us! LOL.

Thanks for the cupcake Momiji and your participation on the site.  It wouldn't be the same without our regulars!

Gee, guess with everyone trying to submit an idea, no one really voting or submitting on anyone else's.

Perhaps if you were to offer a benefit to this matter might draw a bigger crowd, perhaps then again, they signed up and forgot the site entirely.

But congratz on the site's array of interests find it a bit difficult to find a certain area of interest however.

Hope all works to the best , never did get a reply on my submitted notations, but guess we all have different points of view.

The so-called "free" Wifi should not be counted as an idea that has been implemented, as was indicated in an email I received from Starbucks.  You couldn't have a devised a more cumbersome, non customer friendly process if you had purposedly intended to use it as a way to drive customers away.  I don't understand why Starbucks dislikes customers so much as compared to Panera, Caribou Coffee, etc., even McDonald's and Wendy's, all of which somehow manage to offer free Wifi without the tedious hoops has you jump through -- and without encountering the dire problems evisioned by the Starbucks representatives moderating this site.

sbx_bean,

Will you have coffee with me?

Are you married?

The ideas are great. How do you folks at Starbucks aim to please customers ever changing needs?

Thanks for putting in the effort with the ideas.

Andy

One year of Starbucks completely ignoring the overwhelming call to end the Pike Place Roast disaster.

Your silence is deafening on this issue, Starbucks.

I hope the suggestion of getting free iced/hot tea refills like those given to coffee drinkers will be implemented soon as this is an idea made many times on MSI.

Happy Birthday MSI!

Thanks for giving us a place to share our love of all things Starbucks. There have been some really good ideas come from the participants and I look forward to even more. Thanks for my new friends, Melody, Breve, JavaOcha, Momji, LadyKathryn and more.  We have shared many rousing discussions and I have enjoyed every minute.

The moderators are very helpful and really promote the Starbucks idea.

Happy Birthday, and many more!

Amen kjminton! And I'm so glad that Starbucks is "deeply committed to it [mystarbucksidea.com] and that it's going to stay and endure" as per Mr. Schultz!  Thank you Starbucks for creating this highly fun site!

Happy Birthday!  I'd love to celebrate with a Venti Nonfat Pumpkin Spice Latte with Whip but I can't get it in most locations anymore :-(   Please let me have it year round!!!

Seriously, thanks for a venue for feedback.

Could you please have an area or more exposure in each of your stores for customers to have the ability to vote on an idea.  Maybe, an idea a month.  Or to be able to vote on something before it gets discontinued (Melon and Valencia syrups).

I realize that some stores have a trifold response card, but most people do not even seen them or are aware that they are available.

I don't believe that we should have to vote or better yet, "beg" to have an intem returned.  How about being proactive...instead of reactive.

Thanks!  (ps. Please bring back melon!!)
