Launched, Starbucks Card

The Mini Starbucks Card is a convenient way to always have your Starbucks Experience at your finger tips – just clip it to whatever you like (keys, gym bag, etc.) and continue to enjoy your on-the-go lifestyle. I clipped mine to my racing bike, so I am never without a doppio espresso when I need it - I just cycle to a Starbucks store and swipe my Mini Starbucks Card – no wallet required! My friend Sally has hers clipped to her dog’s leash, making it a convenient stop for both of them on their daily walk.

The Mini Starbucks Card works just like a Starbucks Card; register it to enjoy rewards, benefits and to protect your balance too!

Yesterday we had a contest to see who could send us the best picture of something mini. The votes are in and the winning photo is below. "It is a shiny man made out of paperclips, drinking his coffee outside on a nice day in Seattle. And, even though we don't have Cardinals here, I added one anyway! Drawn, constructed, and photographed by me." Congratulations Elly - you win a Mini Starbucks Card loaded with $5!

Again, a great idea, but not very innovative. The gold card members should receive one via mail, especially considering we have shelled out an initial $25 to get it. A real innovation would be to:

1.) Have decorated cups for iced drinks

2.) Bring back almond

3.) Introduce sugar free almond

Sincerely, Do not ignore the GOLD CARD MEMBERS!!!!!

Anything MINI is soo in right now.. I predict Starbucks has a big hit with the MINI card. I think a whole line of MINI sized Starbucks food should be launched as well.

It astounds me that Starbucks continues to launch new benefits that are not available for the Gold Card! Gold card folks are supposed to be you most valued customers, or so you say, but we can't get (red) on our card, can't get free syrup or free soy, and now everyone gets a mini but us? Hello? We don't want the fancy gold lab -- we want real live service.

mini doughnut holes ( tidbits) rolled in cinnamon and brown sugar with a cup of strong starbucks with lots of cream on a very cold day in winter. YUMMMM!

My previous post has a special meaning to me; my father in law passed away 2 weeks ago from pancreatic cancer. I took care of him the last 7 days of his life with his beloved wife around the clock without sleeping. The one thing that made his mornings was when I'd walk in his bedroom with my Starbucks and share some sips with him, he could hardly drink at this point but to be able to taste it put a spark in his eyes. His face was priceless and one I'll always treasure. We use to have our "Starbucks on Sundays" before his illness worsened.

I hope you are quickly going to add the option to have your gold card in a mini format! Frankly having to use my gold card for my discount and then the mini to pay would not be worthwhile unless I got it as a gift.

I vote for a gold car also!! I lose out n my discount so often bc I cant find or forgot my gold card.

I hope they offer it soon or I prob wont be renewing my gold card & will just register a mini, even though I love the gold it ends up about the same discount anyway, after extras.

Why is this innovative? It's giant. People need an RFID key tag (like ones in use for years by credit card companies), not this big thing that still needs to be swiped. This is a great waste of resources and human intelligence.

Those of us who have "paid" for the Gold Card privileges should have been the first to receive the new mini card. This is a convenience that Starbucks was slow in implementing and now I have to sign up to get a mini card and show my gold card too to get that discount! This just doesn’t make sense. Please issue mini gold cards!

I attached my new mini SBUX card to my key ring this morning and didn't even damage a finger nail doing it! Love it! So convenient, no more digging for my SBUX card, or waiting in line for the person in front of me to dig theirs out!

I think you can see that many of us have asked for a mini gold card. I have for many years, modified all my cards, including my gold card so I can put it on my keychain. So PLEASE, make one for us gold card members!!! We paid for it to begin with anyways!!!! I will be looking for it in the mail. LOL :)

As a customer point of view: Yes! the mini Sbux card is great to travell with you. Love the idea, I got one myself.

As a drive-thru barista: No! the mini Sbux card is AWKWARD to hold and to swap on the till because it usually come with bunch of KEYS. The other day I got one that is wet and has mud on it.... ;P

Great - bought one...but can you consider a mini Gold card as well? Currently, I have to remove the Gold card from my wallet/present it ALONG with the mini keychain card, thereby defeating the purpose of the convenient mini card. Thank you!!!
