It’s that time of the year - road trip time! And, from the sound of your ideas, many of you want to know how to find Starbucks while you are traveling this summer. There are several ways to find a Starbucks near you. For people in the U.S. or Canada, you can use your mobile device and text your zip code to 697289 (MYSBUX) and we will text you back with the three closest locations to your zip code. Hi, Over the past few months, I have been reading your ideas and comments for incentives or special offers related to the Starbucks Card. I’ve learned a lot about what sparks your interest like our one-time Starbucks Card 5-pack at Costco and Visa's $5 bonus load for new registered card members. Hi Everyone! Today, July 21, 2009 is “Free Pastry Day” at a participating Starbucks store near you. To show you how excited we are about our new food offerings, Starbucks offered customers a free pastry with purchase of a brewed or hand-crafted beverage. “Free Pastry Day” started when the stores opened and ran until 10:30 a.m. (or while supplies lasted). Starbucks offers a long list of new morning goodies, which are now free of artificial flavors, dyes, trans fats and high-fructose corn syrup. My favorite, which gets me moving in the morning, is the Banana Walnut Bread. Paired with my favorite morning drink, it’s a great start to the day. I encourage you to try something … more »
What is LEED® certification?

Hi! My name is John and I work on our store development team. With all the recent press about our renovated University Village store and its goal of LEED® certification, we’ve learned that many of you are interested in knowing what LEED is and what else we are doing in this area of store development. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. It’s an internationally recognized green building certification system developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). The certification provides proof that prerequisite standards are met for site construction, energy use, indoor air quality and recycling. Hello, We've raised the bar on the quality of our food to make it more like nature intended. I invite you to join us on July 21, from store opening until 10:30 AM* at participating U.S. stores to try our delicious new food, Starbucks pastry items** will be free with the purchase of any handcrafted beverage.
