You’ve probably already noticed the arrival of Summer brought with it a bunch of cool new (STARBUCKS)RED products, including the (STARBUCKS)RED Tumbler, (STARBUCKS)RED Water Bottle, (STARBUCKS)RED 1 lb African Whole Bean Coffee and the “World Is Africa” CD. Every time you purchase one of these products, Starbucks will contribute $1 U.S. to the Global Fund to help people living with HIV in Africa.

Also back by popular demand is the (STARBUCKS)RED Card. Through December 31, 2009, Starbucks will contribute 5 cents U.S. from every purchase made with the Card to the Global Fund. This beautifully designed Card gives you a chance to do something good every time they make a purchase at one of our stores. All those nickels add up fast.

In the seven months since we began our partnership with (PRODUCT)RED, sales of (STARBUCKS)RED products have generated contributions equaling more than four million daily doses of antiretroviral medicine. It’s pretty amazing to think about what we’ve already accomplished, and this is just the beginning.
