Starbucks VIA(tm) is Coming to a Store Near You!

Hi again,

My name is Aimee Johnson and I have the privilege of leading the Starbucks VIA™ Ready Brew team. 

The last time I wrote a blog here on MyStarbucksIdea it was titled “Where can you find Starbucks VIA™ Ready Brew?”  Well, today’s blog is the long-awaited answer to that question.  I am so excited to say that coming up on September 29th, you will be able to find Starbucks VIA™ in all US and Canada locations! 

We first launched Starbucks VIA™ in Seattle, Illinois and select London stores back in March.  Since then, we have been overwhelmed by your positive response and your innovative ideas around when and how you can use this new product.  We have read your distribution and partnership ideas as well as your delicious recipes on how you are cooking with Starbucks VIA™.  In the coming months, we will share some exciting new places that you will be able to find Starbucks VIA™ as well as new ways to use it so keep your ideas coming!

Thanks for helping to shape the future of Starbucks VIA™ with your ideas and remember to check out your local Starbucks on September 29th so that you will never have to be without great coffee.

Hi Aimee,

Has anybody thought baristas wearing a VIA t shirt during the National Launch?I work in Chicago(HMSHOST)which I'm sure you know is a Licensed Concept.Most of our baristas at the airport take public transportation(about 250 baristas)and it would be great advertisement to take public transportation  and be seen by hundreds of people with the VIA shirt.When we wore our Vivanno shirts(Sundays and Thursdays)we had the most Vivanno sales on those days.I'm sure the cost of the shirt will be paid for with a single transaction of a 3 pack Via.

NO where have I seen an explanation of exactly what the heck VIA is!! Especially if you are trying to appeal to a large enough audience it would be helpful to know what the heck is being sold! I can sort of guess but I might even be wrong. It is like picking up something to buy that has no price tag on it. I'll put that thing back on the shelf and shop somewhere else.

@marysmacs: VIA Ready Brew is an amazing coffee experience.  It is a new way to enjoy Starbucks Coffee in an instant format.  It comes in a pre-portioned pack to make an 8 oz. cup of coffee in two flavors: Italian Roast or Colombia.  It will be available in all U.S., Canada, and London stores later this month.  

The stores are planning lots of sampling, so I hope you take the opportunity to visit a store and give it a try.  I think it is delicious and now you can have great coffee wherever you travel.  The package size is so compact that it fits in your purse or a pocket.

Some of my friends visited Chicago and brought me some back.   It's great for camping.  

Any chance there is a decaf Via Bold Italian in my future?

Can't find a store in Canada that is participating in the taste test but I got email inviting me to try it out and I would be all over that.
