Starbucks VIA™ Ready Brew - Show & Tell Time

In anticipation for the national product launch of  Starbucks VIA™ Ready Brew on Tuesday, we are excited to hear from you, the My Starbucks Idea community.  At MSI you have good ideas and insight to share with us and now, we want to ask you what your ideas are for how to use Starbucks VIA™.

Add it to your favorite chocolate chip cookie mix. I like to add a little instant coffee to my chocolate chip cookie mix or anything with a chocolate base. It makes the chocolate taste really YUMMY!  :)

You could use it in your mixed alcoholic beverages that call for instant coffee! It will taste much better than any other alternative!

Just one question. I live in Sweden, but I fly to over US frequently. Your coffee has got me seriously hooked, resulting in that I drink a lot of your coffee when I am in US. Now the question. Why can't you make the Starbuck apps available in iTunes stores outside US? As it is now it can be a bit tricky to find a Starbucks, especially in not-so-populated areas.

I bought a stash of VIA through ebay a few months ago, because I didn't live in any of the cities where it was being promo'ed.  I bought them because I recently moved overseas, to a city where this is no Starbucks.  My options out here are Maxwell House, Nescafe, or to brew my own coffee (which I do with my French Press, hand grinder, and Starbucks beans which I have brought with me).

VIA has been great for those days when 1) I'm in too much of a rush to grind and press, or 2) when I want a good, quick ICED coffee.  Usually, I've used VIA for #2 - a few teaspoons of hot water to dissolve the VIA, add cold water, milk, sugar, and coffee ice cubes.

I started with 60+ packs.  I'm now down to about 8.  Looking forward to next week's national launch, so that I can have some friends by me some and ship them out here to me.

I need Starbucks VIA™

I want to use Starbucks VIA when I am on the go. On my way out the door for school or work, I never have time to brew coffee, and I can't stop at Starbucks on the way there. Starbucks VIA would let me make coffee in the morning in less than a minute.

I also want Starbucks VIA for making quick iced coffee. On a hot day, after coming inside, nothing tastes as good as an iced coffee. It'd be so nice to be able to have one as soon as I walk in the door, and with Starbucks VIA, I could make one right away.

My dad passed away last week and several of us were gathered talking about the need for coffee. EVERYONE of us decided that we like McDonald's coffee better than the Pike's Place that is sold at the stores. It is to bitter! We drank it as a need during my dad's illness but prefered not to if possible.  EVERYONE of us said that we wish that Starbucks would go back to the original flavor that brought all of us to Starbucks and loved it in the beginning years. I do buy the orginal flavor to brew at home. I also know that they can brew a cup for me but I never have time to wait for them to do so.  I don't understand why a coffee company only brews one flavor? Hope to see changes too because I do love starbucks but I will drink McDonalds coffee daily until the change.

I need Starbucks VIA™. I'm looking forward to taking it to class with since I'm usually on the run out the door to grab a (bad) cup of coffee from the cafeteria. Hot water, however, they have in vast supply. VIA™ will help me stay awake and energized through 3 long hours of Hebrew!

You have some great ideas for Starbucks VIA Ready Brew usage.  I saw someone today using it practically like an accessory.  He said he was never without great coffee and always had a pack available in his pocket.
