'Tis the season - for Pumpkin Spice!

Hi everyone, My name is Karen, and I am a product manager on the Espresso team.  There has been a lot of enthusiasm around Pumpkin Spice beverages in our stores as well as right here on My Starbucks Idea so I wanted to write a quick note to celebrate the success of Pumpkin Spice with you.  This is the sixth year we’ve brought back Pumpkin Spice and your enthusiasm for this returning favorite has been incredible!  Many of you have posted ideas about wanting a skinny version of the Pumpkin Spice latte and this idea is currently "Under Review".  Thank you for making Pumpkin Spice lattes and Frappuccino® blended beverages such a special part of your fall days.

For me, this fall has been all about re-connecting with friends, shopping for cozy sweaters and tall boots, and tackling all the house projects that have languished over the summer … all with a warm, creamy, Pumpkin Spice Latte in hand.  As your favorite fall-time activities take hold, we hope you continue enjoying our Pumpkin Spice beverages!

What are some of your favorite Pumpkin Spice occasions?

Karen

I'm not even much of a latte enthusiast but a hot pumpkin spice latte on the way into work on a rainy day IS very nice!

I rather prefer the gingerbread flavor.  I wish it wasn't seasonal.  I buy it in the bottle at this time of year so I can have it all year around at home.

Ever since the pumpkin spice flavor came out years ago I have been hoping that a 'skinny' version of festive drinks would come out.

I am a huge fan of both the Pumpkin spice latte and the Eggnog Latte.  It would be nice to see a low fat/non fat version of the eggnog latte too. Eggnog is extremely fatening and one Venti latte even when cut with Skim Milk is still over 400 calories and carb loaded. Please, please make a low fat version!

I think they should have sugar -free pumpkin spice flavor syrup.

Is PS a syrup?  I had a Venti PS one time to try it and it looks like something was sprinkled over the top.  The overall flavor was coffee with a bitter pumpkin taste.  Not at all what I expected from a pumpkin latte.  (Expected a much sweeter taste, like the usual caramel latte I get!)

Please please please make the pumpkin spice latte year round.   It's the only thing I buy there and I love going every weekend.

Please, please, please, make a sugar-free version! The pumpkin spice latte has jelly-belly written all over it.

Sugar free pumpkin spice...please.  Typical diet is 250 grams of carbs per day and 1 grande pumpkin spice is 50 grams of carbs....too high for the average person.

If you are on a diet or watching your carb intake then you are probably restricting carbs to 150 per day or less....no way you can have a pumpkin spice latte if you are dieting....

Please give us a sugar free pumpkin spice latte!   Thank you.

And non-fat whip cream....you can buy it at Whole Foods, it's made with skim milk.
