Compostable Lunch Containers

At Starbucks, we’re committed to environmental responsibility and I’m excited to share a small way that we are helping to reduce the environmental impact of our lunch program.   We recently launched our new compostable packaging sandwich tray made from Bagasse, sugarcane, a renewable agricultural byproduct.   The tray portion of the packaging is fully compostable, so make sure you place the tray with your compost after you’ve enjoyed your delicious sandwich.  I hope you check out our sandwiches as well as the new packaging and don’t forget to try our returning holiday favorite, Grandma’s Turkey Sandwich.  It features all natural turkey along with delicious stuffing and cranberry sauce.

I sell 100% biodegradable, compostable plastic-alternative items into the medical field.  We have recently gone into food service as well.  Our items are heat resistant to 212degrees (f), compostable, made in the USA and feels just like plastic.  We have a full line of flatware(forks, knives, spoons), cups (cold) and trash bags.  We also have the ability to replace your plastic coffee lids.  Is there someone there I can discuss this with?

My email is hdhiset1@yahoo.com

Thanks,

Ken

That's wonderful!  Now, if only you offered sandwiches that your vegan customers could eat - I would love the chance to use these new trays!  ;)
