Introducing Huevos Rancheros Breakfast Wrap

Hi, it’s Erin on the food team and we’ve got another great way to start you day!  You told us on MyStarbucksIdea you love our Egg White, Spinach & Feta Wrap and you wanted to see more wraps that are equally delicious and our product development team delivered.

Introducing, our new Huevos Rancheros wrap which has 17 grams of protein and only 350 calories and the same wheat wrap you’ve come to love on the Egg White, Spinach & Feta Wrap.  It’s a Starbucks twist on the classic southwest style dish featuring a tasty combination of scrambled eggs, black beans, cheese, spicy peppers and roasted tomatoes.  I shared some samples with our moderator team and they are all raving about its great spicy flavor!

Looking for other hot ways to start your day right?  Try our Reduced Fat Turkey Bacon breakfast sandwich with reduced-fat white cheddar and egg whites on a multigrain English muffin.  And best of all it’s only 340 calories with a hunger-blasting 21 grams of protein.   Or check out our Perfect Oatmeal which is a delicious way to start your day and you can top it with a choice of dried fruit, nut medley or brown sugar.  I enjoy mine with brown sugar, so for only 190 calories I get half of my day’s whole grains needs and 4g of fiber!.

I hope you’ll give our new Huevos Rancheros wrap a try today and let us know what you think.

I tried this yesterday. It is good, but I feel it could be improved still. It lacks flavor and I believe by adding a flavorful meat such as chicken or steak could put this wrap over the top. What do you think? Not all of our customers are vegetarians and protein is nutritionally important in the morning (when most of these are sold).

It is nice you are offering some new breakfast wraps, but I still think you have missed the mark. What happened to the suggestion of an egg white, veggie wrap without cheese and make it not spicy? I know there are people that will enjoy this new wrap, but there still is the question of having something without eggs and cheese.

I tried one this morning and I thought it was delicious as was, but thought it would've been great to have a packet of hot sauce that I could add if I wanted.   I have to agree with purple1 - more & more people can't have dairy or gluten - so a breakfast sandwich that could satisfy that would be ideal.  I see you've introduced lots of snacks along that line, but what about breakfast & lunch items that you can grab & go?   I was thrilled with the oatmeal, but seems like a sandwich or wrap would be more suitable to most people on the run.

I tried this product this morning. I ate only 1/2 of it. It was bland and had too many black beans. According to Erin (starbuck's food team) the wrap is supposed to have a "great spicy flavor!" Also it's supposed to have cheese, spicy peppers, and roasted tomatoes.

First...there was no spicy flavor. The only thing I tasted was black beans.

Second...I opened the wrap to attempt to find the cheese, peppers, and tomatoes...there wasn't any.

It seems like the store I bought mine at got the reject box. It was lacking flavor and the veggies/cheese.

Starbucks...fix this. Offer more breakfast options and get rid of or improve this product.

I miss the Piadini.

A couple of years ago I went vegetarian. I wrote Starbucks a few times to include more 'veggie sandwiches. The Feta Spinach was a good start. I, actually, tried this one by accident. The local Starbucks ran out of the Tomato 'Mozz so I tried the Ranchos. I liked it. It was spicier than any other SB offerings, no meat, and it filled me up. Please, don't add any meat (sorry meat-eaters). I used to eat meat so I empathize. :-) Here's one suggestion: PLEASE KEEP MORE SANDWICHES IN THE STORE; They tend to go fast.

I tried this wrap yesterday morning and I thought it was good. I had it this morning and it actually tasted better, yesterday I barely tasted the cheese. Today was a different story, I would definately try this again. GOOD JOB!!! What I would like to see is more varieties for diabetics....

i don't get to visit my local starbucks very often due to my decrease wage earnings at work but this last sunday, i decided to treat myself to a starbucks and a wrap.  i had never tried any of the "real food" options, (i'm more of a sweets and coffee person) but i decided to try the spinach and feta wrap and may i just say YUMMY YUMMY and well worth the money.  very filling and it kept me going until i got home for lunch quite a few hours later.

You don't have a huevos rancheros wrap unless you have a flavorful ranchero sauce in the wrap.  And the idea of having some hot sauce like Texas Pete would be great for all of your wraps. Thanks.

Is this wrap available at all stores?? I haven't seen it advertised in any of the 6 stores I visit regularly.  Looking for it in Georgia!!

Boring! No cheese, dry beans, egg was okay, no tomatoes. Way too expensive for what was served. $3.25 for that? Will not buy it again. Another bad breakfast idea brought to you by Starbucks.

I tried the huevos rancheros wrap yesterday and liked it.  I thought it was tasty and fresh.  I would, however, suggest a salsa packet for dipping and adding some more flavor and helping with some of the dryness.  The salsa with the breakfast burrito at McD's would be a great example.

love south western food!  was excited and hopeful about this one... I am forever a patron of the buxx...but this wrap...not so much:(  Too bland, too many beans, dry...maybe serve with a fresh salsa add more cheese, cheddar like on the sausage....it may have been there but no flavor of...I found myself wanting ketchup and that is not a good thing!  Awesome concept, but this one needs work!
