I’m Kim with the digital strategy team - hi there! I’m really excited to announce the launch of the Starbucks.com redesign! The new site not only offers cool new functionality, but also allows us to share our story through richer online experiences using beautiful visuals and compelling videos. But we’re not just another pretty face on this information super highway...we’ll also use the site to deliver useful and informative content to you!
Through feedback and ideas shared here on My Starbucks Idea and our other digital channels, we’ve discovered how our customers use the site and the most frequently requested information. You’ll discover improved experiences to those most popular online resources and be introduced to a few new ones you didn’t even know you needed:
• An expanded Store Locator which has mapping features and operating hours for all of our company-operated U.S. stores (a top MSI request!)
• A revamped Nutrition section that easily allows you to sort and access important beverage and food information, including allergens
• A robust Starbucks Card section where you can fully manage your account - buy, register, reload and track your rewards all from the comfort of your couch!
And just as you’re hearing directly from us in our other channels (Twitter...Facebook anyone?), starbucks.com will soon become a place to share in a conversation and community. We’ve introduced blogs from category experts - hear from our coffee experts in the field and discover how the music titles we carry in stores are hand-picked from our friends on the music team. And soon we’d like to hear from you in the form of commenting directly to the site!
