Hello Frappuccino fans, It’s Jennifer, product manager for Frappuccino® blended beverages. The NEW however-you-want-it Frappuccino® blended beverage launches this May. It is customizable, just like your favorite Starbucks® espresso beverage. Soon you can have your choice of milk (whole, 2%, nonfat) and even soy. You’ll also be able to customize the coffee in your blended beverage by adding extra coffee or choosing decaf. For customers looking for lighter options, we now offer a Caramel or Mocha Light Frappuccino® blended beverage for fewer than 150 calories in a (16 fl. oz) grande. Hi ~ I’m Pamela and I am a new moderator on MSI. My role as a territory manager, on the Food Service (FS) team, is to work with national and local FS accounts who offer the We Proudly Brew Starbucks program at various locations including corporate campuses, hotels, hospitals, resorts, etc. Today, I’m excited to get to kick off our first coffee of the MSI Coffee Tasting Club - Organic Yukon Blend®. I’m one of those night owl types. I love the deep, dark, black-blue of the night and the underlying complexity of a world that was so different just hours ago when daylight beamed across the same streets. For all of those subtle underlying attributes that make night what it is, I also find in a cup of Starbucks® Italian Roast. I know, it sounds completely mysterious and rousing, but to me that’s the beauty of this rich coffee. Prepare a coffee press and your nose will undoubtedly pick up soft aromas of cocoa powder, the wafting smokiness of a dying fire, and the sweetness of caramelized sugar much like the crunchy top of a crème brulee. Crack open a bag of Komodo Dragon Blend® and one thing will stand out immediately – a strong aroma that smells a little like a garden or baseball field after a fresh rain. This earthy characteristic is always my first clue that I’m about to enjoy an Asia/Pacific coffee. It’s a dominating scent that distinguishes the region’s coffees quite well. Starting March 9, Starbucks will be featuring a different Bold coffee each week (while continuing to serve Pike Place Roast every day). Many brewed coffee customers already know that we rotate our calendar of Bolds on a weekly basis, but we have some exciting new additions, and these coffees will be front and center in our stores for eight weeks.
