Now if only they had a tall cold cup....

Yay, finally!  I ordered mine yesterday.  Also, Christa, you don't really need a tall cup, since the sizes aren't quite the same as the disposable cups...you get shorted anyway, so you probably ARE getting a tall with the grande cold cup.

Its only the Venti that is "shorted" the grande is still 16oz. But the Venti is only 20oz. At least that is what I understand.

This is wonderful news, however, sadly.... the venti straws area ALREADY out of stock.... why is it so hard to have enough supply to meet demand? I will just have to keep looking.... so glad there is hope at least!

The Venti Size tumbler is only 20 ounces due to the double-wall construction.  We tested a 24 ounce proto-type and it was too big for most car holders.  The lines are accurate for product, but with the Venti size reusable tumbler you'll receive less ice.

RE: Handers comment...Starbucks did meet the supply and demand for the Venti and Grande replacement straws! Which was a surprise...Because they started out with 500 in stock for each... I was glad that I was online the day that they launched. I'm  scheduled to get my replacment straws today...In both sizes...Just keep checking...This was only the first shipment...I'm pretty sure they'll have more in stock soon...

Are these going to be available in stores at all? I refuse to purchase anything from starbucksstore.com after having a horrible experience with them with my first order over there. I'd rather go to my local Starbucks to buy these.

That is BS (re: venti double wall construction, etc) they fit in both my car holders with room to spare, which means their would NOT be a problem. The only reason the tumbler is 20 oz instead of 24 is due to cost cutting, ie: Starbucks greed, plain and simple. But you guys keep repeating what Howard Schultz tells you to say. *pat on the head*

$4.00 for 4 straws? lmao, that's pretty funny but it isn't April fools, that was last month. What did I say in my last message about "greed"?  I have both a Venti and Grande Tumbler....but would never replace the straws with those. Why do that when you can get the usual Venti straws, same size, width, etc, for free when you order a drink?

Unfortunately Miss Diva  the demand was not met for the straws, as I have not been able to purchase replacement straws for my venti cups. I have been to the site everyday and they continue to be out of stock.  Are there any plans for replenishment of the replacement straws (venti) in the near future?  Thanks in advance for your time regarding this matter, and for getting them into production in the first place.

I'm surprised they didn't foresee the venti straws selling out...after all, most people (myself included) have both size cups, but only bought venti straws, knowing that they would work for the grande cup too.  Be patient, as I'm sure they will make more but it could be awhile.

Just wanted to say Thank You for the additional straws!! I really appreciate it.  There is a reason I go out of my way every day just to go to Starbucks, your amazing customer service.

I LOVE THESE CUPS

my almost 13 year old always spills, so i use these as cups at home (according to her she's too old for a 'sippy' cup)

but with this cup she can drink in the family room with minimal spillage (i have white carpets)

her friends love them too, and they keep the drinks cold.  not to mention if i fill it multiple times a day i can keep track of how much she drinks (she tends not to drink enough)

i've never even thought of bringing them in for a refill, the venti barely fits in my car cup holder ...

I love these cups. I got my first one last December free from starbucks came in the mail I have a red and white stripped straw. They have made me drink so much more fluids, I appreciate them. Would love replacement straws.

What if the straw is perfectly fine, but the cup got a crack in it?  I love the cup, and haven't been able to find them anywhere.

It would be so nice to buy all glass drink containers, even the straws.  Something in Pyrex that would last and could be guaranteed as well.

I believe the Pryrex would hold up even better, keep the drinks tasting better and be a safer vessel for different temperatures.

Why have the venti ones been backordered forever and now the link is not valid.

Great idea on the replacement straws!  We wanna see different colors available to support your favorite research/charity (pink straws for breast cancer research, red for aids/heart disease research, etc).  I think it would justify a premium price and I would imagine they would sell well in stores.

It would be useful if you would put the length of these straws and size of cups, etc., on the info about buying them.  How do I know how long a tall or grande or venti straw is?  Seems like a measurement in inches (or ounces, for cups) would be useful instead of making people guess.
