Coming Soon… Olive Way, Seattle Starbucks Store Remodel

I’m excited to let you know that the Olive Way store in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle will be getting a remodel soon.

We want to reflect the local character of the neighborhood we’re a part of and to deliver an authentic coffee house experience.  When the store re-opens later this fall, the new design will not only represent a new level of story-telling, but will also be using some reclaimed & local materials as well as work from local artists.

We will be providing a new and amazing customer experience around coffee, as well as a transformational element to our offerings that will extend our invitation to customers into afternoons and evenings.

I believe our Capitol Hill neighbors will love the updated Olive Way store and we look forward to continuing to be a part of such a vibrant neighborhood.

Thanks for the update sbx_rnis!  I can't wait to see the after pictures.  It will be interesting to see how the expanded offerings of wine & beer go over with our customers.  Some ideas on MSI have been around offering unique products in the evening to make Starbucks an after dinner destination.

Cecile:  I think Sbux already IS an 'after-dinner-destination'....the first thing, to me, would be espresso.  ???

Also, I understand that Sbux is Seattle-based, etc., but God knows there are tons of other stores around the country. (not even counting the world).  Meaning absolutely NO disrespect for anything/one Seattle, couldn't we hear about (or have) something about antyhing Sbux not exclusively Seattle.  ?    Again, I mean no disrepect.
