Starbucks Coffee

I just found this out a while ago!  Happy!  

The suggestion of iced tea brings back wonderful memories of bringing in my treat receipt, ordering a vivanno and an iced tea, and being charged full price for the vivanno and $2.00 for the $1.80 iced tea.  Even the store manager didn't see what was wrong with that.  Yes, I did end up getting two free drinks from that incident.

Can we get this in Canada too?

I agree with Toronto_Mike.  It would be great to see this offered in Canada.

I am happy to see this promotion come back.  However, I went to a Starbucks in a hotel (Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas) and it was not participating (no treat receipt), so please be aware that it really is "participating stores."  

I did visit another Starbucks and did get one, yippee!

Side note - Peet's is doing $2 Freddo Fridays this month, and is promoting customization - decaf, choose milk, add shots, and syrups.  

All day Friday and you don't have to buy something else in the morning?  Now that's a good promotion.

Why does this treat receipt work well ?

How about adding hot coffee?

Hot coffee is my drink of preference all day.

This is exciting that it will last longer. I was going to suggest maybe do a separate treat receipt for December and January if this hadn't been extended.

How about another cold cup straw give-away

It does seem to be the weak link.

I love my cup and get lots of comments on it.

Unfortunatly I find some point out the battered straw. Bent and beat up I tell them,

But it still works.
