Starbucks Natural Fusions – Starbucks Latest Innovation in Packaged Coffee

Hello,

My name is Tom and I work on the Research & Development team.  For nearly 40 years, Starbucks has been changing the way people experience coffee, providing innovative hand-crafted and packaged products that fulfill evolving tastes.  It is with this same artful attention to detail that Starbucks has created it latest innovation in packaged coffee – Starbucks® Natural Fusions, the first nationally-branded naturally-flavored packaged coffee made with real ingredients blended right in.

Starbucks coffee first was introduced to the grocery aisle 12 years ago.  To deliver the Starbucks experience that you have come to expect, Starbucks Natural® Fusions are made with high quality Arabica coffee from Latin America and is naturally-flavored with real ingredients that are ground and mixed in with the coffee, delivering that bold flavor of Starbucks coffee with just the right amount of flavor.  Starbucks® Natural Fusions is available in the coffee aisle where consumers buy groceries in Vanilla, Caramel, and Cinnamon.  Let us know how you like this new Starbucks coffee experience and which flavor is your favorite.

This Idea is great. Should be a big hit, this will draw a new group of people. Should brew ( pour-over ) at the stores. Hazelnut kind seems to be the most popular

I usually associate infused coffee with a way to tart up cheaper beans etc. Wondering what spurred this idea....maybe competitors or something. The only infusion I like is mocha/chocolate in the winter time. So I will pass on this for the time being. Seems odd to flavor high quality bean coffee but then again lots of folks get the "flavor shots" in the stores so what do I know!

I tried the new flavored coffee at Target but the strong taste of the coffee over powered the taste of the flavor. Target's Archer Frams brand tastes better. You can taste the flavor more.

Thanks for the feedback 1yogagirl!  It took Starbucks quite awhile to enter the flavored coffee market and we're really proud of our coffee.  A lot of tastings and thought went into this product and I believe not covering up the inherent coffee flavor is important.  Ultimately the customer decides, so we do appreciate the feedback.
