Heard about this on the news.  I am surprised those who subscribe to e-mail didn't get one about this, but perhaps we will later.  I look forward to trying them.

I'm not sure if they are in the works, but please consider offering an unsweetened and a decaf version of at least one variety.   There are so many people who cannot have (or do not like) sugar or caffeine, according to mystarbucksidea.

Thank you.

I'm actually disappointed that Sbux has chosen to use their resources and go even MORE into the 'flavored coffee' direction.  Who ever would've thought that Sbux would ever be selling INSTANT FLAVORED COFFEE. ???  (and I do like VIA, but enough is enough....)

And, when you say "we heard you".....were there really THAT many requests for flavored VIA?  It certainly could never have matched our outcry AGAINST  PPR, but we weren't being "heard" then.  pacified, yes, eventually.....but heard? not so much.  (or, heard and just ignored)

Why does Starbucks presume that everyone wants a specific minimum level of sweetness, and the type of sweetener, even if pure cane sugar?  (You can always add more, but not you can't remove what's already there.)

For a company so bent on providing options for its varied customer base, you kind of figure that an unsweetened product would be the way to go, and let people determine, what, and how much sweetener they would use, if any.

@ChocolateBug - the sweetness helps accentuate the flavor.  If you prefer a non-sweetened flavored coffee you might like Starbucks Natural Fusions.  This coffee is available in the grocery aisle.

I for one am super excited about this! Its new and whats so wrong with that? Plus i would never consider VIA "instant coffee", its micro-ground and delicous. When i want black coffee i use the colombian or italian roast, sometimes i want iced coffee and iced VIA is awesome for all of this! Its just another new and refreshing kind of idea i have come to expect from SBUX!!!

I agree with TheKwan and ChocolateBug - please provide a non-sweetened version of one or all of the flavored Via's.  I tried the Iced Via and could not stand the sweetened taste.  When I want iced coffee I just use regular via.  I love good quality flavored coffee and am willing to pay for it but not if it is already pre-sweetened.  To add to ChocolateBug's comment about sweeteners, Starbucks adds way too many shots of syrup or chocolate to its drinks.  For some reason, Starbucks felt it necessary to force low fat milk on the public, but will still load us up with sugar!  The high sugar content is probably more detrimental to us than the high milk fat.  I always cut the amount of shots in my mochas by at least half, if not more (and I have a sweet tooth and am overweight and I still think it's too much).  Thank you for listening.

I was so excited until I saw that it was sweetened. :(    Why?!
