Share Your Love for Pumpkin Spice Latte with a Haiku
Falling leaves, crisp air Tall Pumpkin Spice Latte please A cozy fall day! There is a lot of love for the Starbucks fall favorite that is Pumpkin Spice Latte. We would like to share in the love fest for this beverage over the next three weeks on My Starbucks Idea. Beginning today and the next two Mondays, we want to hear from you and have some fun. This week, we want to hear your Pumpkin Spice haikus. We’ll reward our four favorites each with a $25 Starbucks Card. What is a haiku? In Japanese the word “haiku” means playful verse . A Stainless Steel Tumbler in Every Size
I come from a long line of ‘drip’ coffee drinkers. As a youngster, I can remember waking up before dawn for swim practices and dragging myself out of bed and downstairs, where my poor dad (who got stuck with drop-off duty) was filling up his to-go tumbler for the journey ahead. It always seemed like 16 ounces of ‘morning fuel’ was never enough. He often had to have a quick cup, in addition to what was in his tumbler, before we ventured out the door. With memories like this, I am so excited to announce that we now have a venti (20 fl. oz) tumbler in U.S. and Canada company-owned stores—and it’s sleek and in stainless steel to boot! Venti drinkers can take their … more »
Reusable Cup Sleeve: like a fall sweater for your favorite warm beverage!
For me, fall is the season that makes me feel most alive—a whoosh of crisp air in my lungs; the cozy warmth of thick, wool socks against my favorite boots; and the vivid oranges, yellows and browns that Mother Nature brings every year. In an ode to the earth (and MSI feedback!), we’re bringing a reusable cup sleeve to our customers this season in the U.S. and Canada. Made of soft, washable felt, the sleeve fits tall, grande and venti size cups and tumblers. It even has a pocket for stashing cash, your Starbucks Card or a packet of VIA® Ready Brew. Pick up one today ($3.95 US, $4.45 CAN) to use with your favorite warm beverage!
Eco-conscious Starbucks Card
Hello, I’m happy to share that we’ve taken another step toward increasing the use of recycled content in the production of Starbucks Cards. On August 31 we introduced the “Green Cups” Starbucks Card in our U.S. and Canada stores. The elegant yet simple design highlights a silhouetted line-up of our most popular cups and tumblers against a pure white background. We think that the clean design is a perfect way for us to represent a Card that is not only functional but eco-conscious. The Green Cups Starbucks Card is made from 80% post industrial recycled material and, unlike the recycled Card we offered in the past, this Card will be a core part of our program, which means … more »

Bumber-ella-ella-ella-shoot
“It – it belongs in our family," said Button-Bright, beginning to eat and speaking between bites. “This umbrella has been in our family years, an’ years, an’ years. But it was tucked away up in our attic an’ no one ever used it ’cause it wasn’t pretty.” “Don’t blame ’em much,” remarked Cap’n Bill, gazing at it curiously. “It’s a pretty old-lookin’ bumbershoot .” – L. Frank Baum, Sky Island (1912) Bumbershoot . n. An umbrella. [Alteration of (UMB)RELLA and (PARA)CHUTE.] first known use c. 1896. Seattle’s international arts and music festival isn't as old as Sky Island … more »
