A Stainless Steel Tumbler in Every Size

I come from a long line of ‘drip’ coffee drinkers.  As a youngster, I can remember waking up before dawn for swim practices and dragging myself out of bed and downstairs, where my poor dad (who got stuck with drop-off duty) was filling up his to-go tumbler for the journey ahead.  It always seemed like 16 ounces of ‘morning fuel’ was never enough.  He often had to have a quick cup, in addition to what was in his tumbler, before we ventured out the door.  With memories like this, I am so excited to announce that we now have a venti (20 fl. oz) tumbler in U.S. and Canada company-owned stores—and it’s sleek and in stainless steel to boot!

Venti drinkers can take their beverage on-the-go in this double-walled, stainless steel tumbler ($22.95 US, $26.95 CAN).  The stylish, twist lid allows you to drink from any side, while the double-wall protection will help keep your favorite beverage warmer longer.  Say cheers for 20 ounces of ‘morning fuel!’

So is this going to REALLY be available in every size? So there is going to be a Tall and maybe even a Short?

they are not keeping things as hot as your old mugs! In additon the top is horriable personally  I like the old standard mugs you used to have, with the flip top!

Never mind, after making a suggestion awhile back for a Venti size "create a tumbler" style cup, I have found a 20 oz vac insulated stainless steel tumbler that I am able to customize to my hearts content.

I am excited about the venti tumbler and have seen it in a few stores.  I'm with javagal6, I'm not excited about the lid.  I much prefer the flip top.

I really like the look and feel of this tumbler.  I haven't purchased it as of yet, however I plan to.  My wife has a tumbler with this top and she like the ease of twisting and sipping.

I do like the old flip top lids, however I have thrown 5-6 away because they break at the clasp that snaps down.

I prefer the new lid that is on the the frosted double wall tumbler.  It is great and holds the heat for quite a while.

Great job on this tumbler though, I like the idea of 20oz. tumbler.

I would love more selection of Venti containers, but find the twist lid to be unfavorable. Would prefer a flip lid instead.

Since a Venti wasn't available I bought two Grande sizes for my husband and myself.  Two Weeks later I see the Venti size in the stores, a little ticked off especially since I emailed customer service 3 days before my purchase asking about a Venti stainless cup and was told that no, one they did not have one in that size and sent me a link to the grande!!

I've been waiting for years for you to bring out a Venti tumbler in stainless steel, and couldn't wait to try this one out. I just have a couple of comments.

(1) the base is larger than most tumblers. So much so that it doesn't fit in my car's cup holder. I thought this was just a problem for me, but I'm finding that others are experiencing the same issue.

(2) I'd really like to see a flip top lid instead of the twist lid. For some reason that lid and my mouth don't work well together.

Those item's aside I'm very pleased, and looking forward to a continuing trend of bringing cups out in all sizes, including, now, Venti!

I like this idea...but I would love it, if they would make a bubble lid, that would click on like the, disposable ones, do...I love my Chai Tea (hot or cold) with whipped cream...and the way the cups are made now, the only way to get whipped cream, is to get LESS Chai Tea... ;-((((

I want my Chai Tea (hot or cold) & whipped cream, too!... ;-))))

mean while I'll keep searching for one...and who ever comes up with one first, will get my money... ;-}

My favorite Starbucks tumbler of all time is your VIA brown tumbler with the handle. It keeps my coffee hot for hours, but it's the LID that rocks. I've purchased my fair share of tumblers over the years (and I still have them all), but this lid is different. The rubber seal can be flipped up and down, so you can really wash every part of it - VOILA! less odor retained, not to mention the sanitary benefits. Plus, the stainless steel rim makes lipstick stains a thing of the past. Now if you could somehow join this lid with your venti size tumbler, that would be a match made in heaven!

I bought the cup as soon as it came out.  It keeps my mocha hot until the last drop.  I will say, I am not crazy about the top either.  I like the top that was on the Christmas cups that really have room for whipped cream with the push to open drink spout.  The only thing with that top is that the little round rubber ring comes out of that so I have to be careful that it doesn't drop out.  Also, I find that cleaning the lids are sometimes difficult.  You really have to soak them very well to make sure that you get all the coffee stains out.  I sometimes put a very small amount of bleach in the water with the dish soap as I also have the Venti in the green recycle cups.  They just don't keep anything hot for long.

And for me, I could really go for something larger than Venti!!

What I would like is a well made, meticulously engineered stainless tumbler. I recently purchased the stainless tumbler with the leather sleeve and it is almost what I seek. The ideal tumbler would have an ALL stainless steel embodiment; the removable leather sleeve; Venti size configuration; a rubber, non-slip, non-mar sole; and a lid/cap that is easy to sip from (the current lips on cups are too wide and dribble is prevalent). Can this be done?

I would love to buy this tumbler but I'm not a fan of the twist lid. I would rather it have a flip top lid. I also frequently hear people say they wish they could buy replacement lids for old tumblers.

I can't wait to get one. I do know that the 2 stores near me has the green plastic one and not the stainless steel one. I hope that these arrive in the StarBuck Stores soon!

I require a straw to drink my latte.  I search daily for an insulated mug that will fit in the car cup holder, keep my drink hot, and have a lid that allows for a straw.

I love the new stainless double-insulated mug, but can't tell you how disappointed I was when I saw the lid style :-(

Please make another lid for that style mug available, preferably easy to clean, meaning not all plastic.

Thanks for listening to us!!

Add 20 ounce to my last comment. That is so important I just assumed it and neglected to write it down!!

Thanks again!

I LOVE this cup!  It keeps my hot beverages hot and my cold beverages cold.  And for a long time!  I filled my cup with ice and 7-up @ 230am. and by 9am when I got up, there was still ice in it!!  With the lid off!!  This cup is amazing! I can't find another one on line to purchase...  My family was so impressed, they want one!

This cup is great at keeping my coffee hot or cold for serveral hours. I have one issue with it though; I have been using it everyday for the last 2 months. I start to notice the cap has a build up of coffee stains. I would like to know how to take the lid apart to clean. this problem is for the cup pictured.
