PayPal & the Starbucks Card

Part of the fun on being on the Starbucks Card team is to look at your ideas and find ways to make them work. Nearly 60 ideas have been submitted asking us to start using PayPal to automatically load your favorite Starbucks Card and we’ve done just that. PayPal is now an option when reloading your Card on our website-and in just a few weeks, PayPal is coming to mobile! So now you can reload your Card on the fly- no credit card required thanks to the convenience of PayPal. Thanks for sharing your ideas, we’re using them! Hello! Sarah here, from the Merchandise team. I’ve noticed many questions and/or comments on MSI pertaining to our City Mug series. Whether or not you are a collector, many wonder if their hometown is worthy of a Starbucks® City Mug. I’m here to shed some light on a customer favorite. When did the series start? City Mugs were first offered by Starbucks in 1994. From 1994 – 2007, the mugs weren’t as consistent as the ones in store today. Each varied in design that suited its respective market or city. First Starbucks at Sea Sets Sail in December

The Starbucks Experience that you know and love on land will now be available for the very first time at sea. We are so thrilled that when Royal Caribbean International’s new Allure of the Seas, the world’s largest and most innovative cruise ship, sets sail for the first time on December 5, 2010, it will do so with a fully-operational licensed Starbucks store. The Starbucks Digital Network in Stores Now

The Starbucks Digital Network, in partnership with Yahoo! is now in stores. As announced on June 14 the Starbucks Digital Network is a complement to our free Wi-Fi service. The network offers a selection of premium news, entertainment and local online content – all for free! Visit a participating U.S. Starbucks store with your Wi-Fi enabled laptop, tablet or smartphone, connect and you’ll automatically be directed to the Starbucks Digital Network.
