The Red Cups are Here - Share Your Story

The holiday red cups have become a tradition at Starbucks.  My name is Daniele and I work with the creative design team.

This year, we were inspired by the idea of people sharing their own stories and experiences to create the holidays at Starbucks. We used deco-inspired illustrations to create scenes that are open to the interpretation of the viewer – playful interactions between a cast of characters. The idea is to let people fill in the blank and make it their own story. And through all of our shared stories, the holiday spirit is brought to life.

We hope you have a wonderful holiday season.

I went in today to get my first red cup of the season. The cup designs are so different this year but I like them!

I love the designs each year, my daughter even commented on them.  I wish that you made a reusable one that was for sale that was similar to the holiday cups, they are always so unique and creative!

I like the holiday cups but would prefer they wait to make their appearance until after Thanksgiving.

The cups are lovely.

It's a shame that with the holiday cups we don't also get the other holiday items.  The Caramel Brulee Latte, the Christmas Blend, the gift boxes, and the specialty Christmas items.

I see that Canadian stores have those things already (speculation: because their Thanksgiving was last month), but it's hardly fair they have access to what I (normally a cheapo Americano drinker) consider the best Starbucks has to offer weeks before we do.

I'd love to see a pictorial history of all of the red cups.   Do you think you can do that?

The first red cup I saw immediately brought to mind the caramel brulee latte!! Love the cups, but I'd love them more if I could have my favorite drink in them. =/

When does Starbucks stop using the Holiday red cups? I.e., what is the date Starbucks retires the awesome Holiday reds [that is, until next season]? Thanks!
