The Original Three Region Blend is Back!

Starbucks Tribute Blend™ is a great blend of coffees. The aged Sumatra component, a cornerstone of our most popular offerings, mixes beautifully with other coffees from Latin America and Africa/Arabia to make a great cup.

You may be asking yourself though – which Starbucks blend was the first to venture down the delicious path of combining coffees from all three growing regions: Latin America, Africa/Arabia and Asia/Pacific? Here’s a hint. It wasn’t our Starbucks Tribute Blend™.

Instead, it’s the aptly named Three Region BlendIt's a wonderful blend of coffees from East Africa, Central America and Papua New Guinea with lush floral and herbal notes.

Last year was the first time we introduced Three Region Blend, and we’re bringing it back because many of you said “I love this blend!”  The coffee offers an amazingly balanced cup with flavors of herbs, lemons and currants. It can be enjoyed all summer long!

Interestingly, when our coffee team set out to make a new summertime blend, we didn’t start with the intention of creating a blend from the three growing regions. But after working with a number of recipes, we came up with a lush, well-balanced cup that just happened to draw on beans from around the world. So we thought, “What better way to celebrate the world of coffee?” and Three Region Blend was born!

Have fun and enjoy a cup of coffee from the world’s coffee farmers to you.

I personally am hoping that Gazebo comes out (assuming it is still in play...) earlier this 'summer' than it usually does.  I like it very much.

As for the Three Region, I was excited to try it last yr and never even finished the lb.  It's not for me.  I wanted to give it another try this yr so I did have a short....  same thing, for me.....not good enough.  not bold enough, not 'clean' enough.  But, I realize many people wil/do love this.

Back to Gazebo, it always seems it comes out too late in the summer.... hopefully it will come around, and sooner.

I blend the Three Region together with Cafe Verona for the most perfect cup of coffee.  I too found the Three Region not bold enough but adding equal amounts of Cafe Verona beans to my coffee machine is wonderful.  Try it!!

@betterbefore - have you had a chance to try the Starbucks Reserve Rwanda?  It has some great citrusy notes similar to Gazebo Blend.  This may be one for you to try.

I was hoping that the Tribute Blend would be a permanent thing on the shelves.

I totally loved the taste of this one.

The Tribute Blend had topped my favorites!

Please bring it back.

I live in the Philippines, and Starbucks Philippines offers a great selection just like the ones you guys have over there...unfortunately though, nothing really catches my fancy.

I've begun to take that trip all over again of trying different blends, but nothing else satisfies me.
