Find Jobs on the Starbucks iPhone App!

Ever wondered what it’s like to work at Starbucks?  We have made it easier for you to find a job at your local Starbucks or in supporting roles across the U.S. and Canada through the Jobs tab on the myStarbucks iPhone app. Not only can you search for a store location or customize your favorite drink, but you can also tap on the Jobs tab and learn about what it’s like to work at Starbucks.  And if that wasn’t enough -- you can watch our videos on YouTube to learn more about our career opportunities.  All from your iPhone!  (Don’t have an iPhone? Go to Starbucks.com/careers to watch the videos and search for your perfect job.)

If you happen to be in a Starbucks store in the U.S. enjoying the free Wi-Fi, you will also be able to jump on the Starbucks Digital Network from the same app on your iPhone and enjoy news, music, sports, entertainment, and local events. (If you don't have the iPhone app visit Starbucks.Yahoo.com to access the Starbucks Digital Network while in stores).

Check out the myStarbucks app and let us know what you think or give us suggestions for how we can make it better.

Yes, we are receiving many applications and making hires from our iPhone app. It clearly is popular with users of the iPhone and we really like offering new and convenient ways for candidates to find, share and apply to our open jobs.

@djack55 - We are so happy that you downloaded the Android app, and on the first day -- congratulations on being an early adopter!  We are constantly adding and improving our mobile apps with the features that interest our customers. We will continue to enhance and improve the Android app with new and exciting functionality. I will take your recommendation about jobs search back to the Android team.  Please keep checking on MSI and let us know what you think of the app as we continue to evolve it.

While in our U.S. stores, use your Android to connect to the Starbucks Digital Network at Starbucks.Yahoo.com. This is another access point to view available jobs with Starbucks and connect to lots of other local content!

Does Starbucks offer any job opportunities for personal who are retiring from the military?

Hello COBCMC – Yes, we have a long history of veteran outreach, support and hiring. We are very fortunate to have senior leaders who were veterans themselves and who provide ongoing support to our veteran recruiting efforts. We are board members of Hire America’s Heroes, a non-profit organization focused on improving access to jobs for transitioning military service members, veterans, and military family members.

In addition, our executive vice president general counsel and secretary – and former Army captain - was invited to sit on the White House Council for Community Solutions which focuses on education and employment for young people including transitioning veterans.

We have ongoing needs in supply chain, logistics, engineering and IT and many transitioning veterans also have skills and experience in these areas. In addition, our retail business is always in need of professionals who are driven, results-focused, who can think on their feet, work well in busy environments juggling priorities, always puts the customer first and who demonstrate leadership courage.

Starbucks employees are called partners because we each share in the success of the business and pull together as a team. We pay the difference between our partners’ military pay and their Starbucks pay when they are called to active duty.

We have an internal partner network called the Armed Forces Network which is open to our partners and is dedicated to supporting those Starbucks partners who are serving or who have served in the armed forces and their families. The mission of this network is to provide support for Starbucks partners who are active duty military or veterans; to contribute to our communities through support for returning veterans, particularly disabled veterans; and to help veterans transition to civilian employment and create a culture that embraces military veterans in the workplace.

I hope that this helps COBCMC. If you are a veteran please know two things; we invite you to apply to any of our current openings and we honor your service and are grateful for your work in defense of our country.
