Jamaica Blue Mountain®, Back by Popular Demand

It’s that time of year again when all is blue, the weather is warm and the sun is shining. We’re brewing up yummy cups from our Clover® brewer and stocking the shelves with bags of Jamaica Blue Mountain® for all who are delighted as it makes a return appearance. We discovered this was a coffee that folks buzzed about when we featured it last season. Well, we listened to you, and it’s back!

The coffee takes its name from the Blue Mountains that cover the eastern part of Jamaica. Elevations here climb to over 7,000 feet. The higher the elevation, the mistier the mountain interior gets, which gives the mountains their blue appearance.

Coffee carrying the Jamaica Blue Mountain® name must be certified by the Jamaica Coffee Industry Board, which supervises all stages of coffee processing – pulping, drying, sorting and grading. Every coffee is quality-tested by certified tasters before export, ensuring that only the best is placed in the iconic wooden barrels used for shipping.

I think those familiar with this coffee will enjoy its return. For those of you who haven’t discovered it yet, I encourage you to try it for yourself. It’s a coffee that has great flavor with citrus and milk chocolate notes. We’re pleased to bring it back again this year, but don’t wait too long because it is very limited and we want to you to enjoy it as much as possible. Cheers!

Enjoy a sneak peak of this coffee in our Starbucks Reserve Clover Brewed stores before it launches on July 12 – check with your barista for more information.

Am glad you put something about the date in here, unlike the Kona, and I went a ways away to a Clover store, only to find it hadn't been released yet. (tho you had written on here as released)

But, just to be clear:  is this NOW at Clover stores?  (unitl 7/12..when it's released at Reserve stores)

and, I'm glad it's back, too.

I just tried Jamaica Blue Mountain this morning with some home made coffee cake which had 3 cheeses in it. The two really went well together. This is an excellent coffee.

I could really smell and taste the "chocolatey notes"! Glad it is back! Judy

A bit costly, but it is the best coffee, bar none.  Drink it bare; shame to kill it with cream and sugar.

way to expensive!
