Thank you so very much, Starbucks!  I don't live in Pittsburgh, but I will be greatly anticipating the nationwide release!  I assume this will also apply for Gold Rewards members' special coupons and rewards/treats as well?

A reward perk that is long overdue. No more waiting for a postcard that takes weeks to arrive and can get "lost" in the mail. Bravo Starbucks! I will love having it on my Iphone app!

I live in Pittsburgh and think this is great new way to get your free drinks. The only thing I would tweak about it is allowing us to see free drinks on our accounts-- whether it be printed on a receipt, or online. Currently we do get an email, but I don't often use my free drinks right away. If the email gets deleted there isn't a way to check your account for free drinks or their expiration dates.  

Please make the free drinks on the gold members be linked to my IPhone. I love your app but the idea of getting a card mailed to me is expensive for Starbucks and kind of a pain for the customer who has to take it to the store to redeem. Hope it works in Pittsburgh cause the Washington DC area would love it.

So much for my idea to link your rewards to the Starbucks app on Iphones.  It never posted.

I can't wait for this to come to Canada. I got a postcard this week for a free drink and it was already expired.

Will the free drink still have an expiration date?

I have been Starbucks Gold Member since its inception date.

I have also posted several comments regarding the "electronic reward" for the free drink on the mobile app.

It is "win-win" situation for Starbucks and customers :

savings on postage and trees, provides a faster respond for customers and a possible higher sales from customers using the "electronic reward".

It is the electronic age for sometime now.

Please implement the program for the benefits of the Company(Starbucks) and customers(consumers).

The technology is available for implementing the program(s) for Apple and Android platform. They are the dominant users for all smartphones.

Yes, there are Blackberry and Window platform too...

I have had my Gold Card sine 2010 and I have yet to receive a free drink and I use the card very often.  I think thisa should be computerized some way so stores can see when a customer has a free drink coming.  I usually get my free BD drink, but so far hsven't received my free drink card this year and my BD is in July.  

Please bring this to the Ventura county area ASAP! !!

Great idea - I have had to call a couple of times also because they were "lost in the mail". An email works best for me as I don't have an Iphone (yes I'm archaic...) then I can print out the coupon and bring it as soon as my rewards are earned - I think I speak for everyone here in Oklahoma :)

I know I spend too much, drink too much SBucks and I am sure that is why the Company cannot keep up with all the Free Drink Cards I earn. Hopefully this will resolve that issue here in KY. Not any greener on this side of the fence, buckeroos. Oh, but the beans are greener and delicious in the new Green Coffee Drinks.

I think this has been a long time coming.  Not only is this going to be more reliable....but my postal delivery is not usually the same person week to week and have noticed some things missing...especially my rewards drinks...

Bring it to the whole U.S. ASAP! I use my iPhone app almost exclusively to pay for my drinks. Makes SO much more sense to put our rewards on our cards.

The snail-mail system is archaic in a digital world. Thank you Starbucks for being forward thinking. I hope the testing is going well in Pittsburg because I want it in my area ASAP!

If the "Licensed" stores are a problem for the electronic coupon, provide an option to print it out. If you bar code it or something you can avoid multiple redemptions for the the same free drink.

This was initiated in April, it's August.  When's this gonna hit the rest of all the loyal SB coffee drinkers??
