Introducing Frappuccino® Frozt™ blended beverage

Backyard BBQs. The scent of sunscreen. Flip-flops. Lounging by the pool. Summer’s here, and in the Starbucks Beverage Lab, we’ve been inspired to capture the taste of the season in a new line of Frappuccino® blended beverages.

Meet the Frappuccino® Frozt™ blended beverage. These dairy-free concoctions are currently available in select stores in San Jose, Dallas, and Atlanta. For those of you who have asked for non-dairy Frappuccino® beverage options, this is for you!

A Frappuccino® Frozt™ blended beverage is the perfect cool-me-down refreshment for those hot, sticky, sweltering summer days. It’s available in two flavors: Pink Lime (think fruity limeade) and Coconut Lime (think tropical piña colada).  One mouth-chilling sip and you’ll be transported to the beach. An afternoon picnic. Relaxing in the sunshine. Or wherever your summertime reveries take you!

We’ve had a blast taste-testing our way toward this fruity-tropical, icy-smooth refreshment.  We hope you enjoy it too, and would love to hear what you think!

I wish Starbucks would do a national test sometime soon!  I'm still waiting to try the Refreshers (not the canned kind)...aren't those coming to stores this summer?  I hope so!

When are you going to share this with Canadian stores?

Depending on the flavor options I really like this idea. Some days (like today where it hit 105 where I am) it is just too hot for coffee or any drink containing milk or cream. A cold non-dairy frap-like drink would be pretty perfect!

I have been ordering Frozts each time I go to the South Bay area, so I was delighted when my local branch said they were going to start serving them next week. Now I find that  it is not the Frozts that are coming but the Refreshers! Oh no, these have caffeine. Please, launch the general release of the Frozts, they are delicious and with no caffeine they can be a great treat for all the family.

I am SO glad that you have the pink lime frozt available in the Atlanta area!  I have been enjoying these ("extra thick") all summer.  They have been a real lifesaver in the brutally hot and humid weather!

I just wonder why the frozts are not promoted more in the stores - ?  I remember seeing a display sign at the beginning of the season, but that disappeared and it does not even appear on the menu.  You have to be "in the know," I guess.  ;)  Anyway, I hope that Starbuck's will continue to offer these refreshing, delicious drinks!

When will this drink option be available everywhere in the States?
