Starbucks Card for Passbook in Canada and the UK

Race you to the App Store! We’re thrilled to announce support for Passbook in Canada and the UK with our most recent Starbucks app update.

If you’re a My Starbucks Rewards™ member, you’re probably already familiar with mobile payment, tracking your My Starbucks Rewards™ account and the additional features our app provides. Now, as you’ve been asking, you can now use our app to add your Starbucks Card to Passbook.

If you’re looking to get connected, Passbook is preinstalled within Apple's iOS 6 operating system. Make sure you have our most recent Starbucks app update (v2.5), then simply open your Starbucks app on your iOS 6-enabled device and tap “Add Card to Passbook,” found within the "Manage" menu on the main screen of the “Cards” tab.

Hello!  I saw your post after visiting my local Starbucks today.  I was wondering if using Passbook will still register for stars/rewards as it would on the app.  Please let me know.  Thanks!

Yes,  you'll earn your stars on your registered Starbucks Card when using Passbook.

Although I am able to integrate my card into the passbook application, I haven't been able to get the passbook to show up on my lock screen when I am at a location that I have marked as a "favourite". Also, when I press the circled "i" button at the bottom right corner of the passbook, I get the message at the top "Cannot Load App Details".  Any tips on what may be wrong?
