New Evolution Harvest™ Snacks – Including 2 Gluten Free Bars!

When choosing a snack, now you don’t need to compromise nutrition or taste. New Evolution Harvest™ bars and freeze dried fruit are available in participating Starbucks stores across the U.S. and trail mix will be here in late October!

We put a lot of thought and care into picking and blending ingredients for incredible taste and nutrition that comes directly from the nuts, seeds and fruit – not from added vitamins or protein. The bars taste great with a hint of agave sweetness. The freeze dried fruit is fruit that has been picked at the peak of freshness and then freeze dried to help lock in flavor. And the trail mixes are tasty blends of dry roasted nuts, seeds and fruit sweetened with fruit juice (instead of table sugar).

Many of you have also requested gluten free options and I am very excited to share that 2 of the new bars are gluten free – Pepita, Almond, Raisin & Cranberry bar and Roasted Soybean, Pepita & Almond bar.

Please let us know what you think of the Evolution Harvest™ snacks. We hope you love them as much as we do!

I honestly don't think these are great. Too sweet, and one can see why with brown rice syrup high on the list of ingredients. I do my best to stay grain-free and dairy-free, and adored the Two Moms in the Raw bars. Does Evolution have to so strictly corner your market??

Take a look at the Evolution Roasted Soybean Pepita Almond bar. 5g of sugar with organic agave and brown rice syrup fourth down on the list, so not too sweet. It's gluten-free too!

The kind bars were so much better...  :/  I don't go to starbucks for a nutritious snack anymore.

The new bars are horrible! I was so disappointed when I went in to get a Kind Bar. I tried one of the new ones and threw it away after one bite. Yuck.

Dried fruit is tooo dry. When taking bites of some of the fruit powered puffs from the fruit causing me to cough.

Very similar to choking reflects. This new type of dried fruit reminds me of dehydrated food you take camping or hiking and add water. Also, when using the hanging baskets in front of the refrigerator case the fruit gets hard.

I do like the new bars and nuts. Thank you for providing a bar selection with less sugar.

Thanks for offering gluten free options. It's one of the few vegan options as well. xxx

Hmmmm... I may be in the minority of recent posts here, but I have to say, I love the Evolution Almond Cocoa snack bar! Yes, I like Kind Bars, and LaraBars (especially Chocolate Mint or Chocolate Hazelnut) but bars, in general, are more of a treat for me. I try to get whole grains as much as I can... But hey, this Almond Cocoa had 5 grams of protein... only 9 Grams of sugar (the Choc Mint LaraBar has 20 g sugar, and the Kind Cranberry Almond has 11.) There are certainly much worse bar options out there. So, I'm pretty happy with this as an occasional snack choice. :-)

These bars are HORRIBLE! I bought one at a Starbucks store, and threw it away while still in the store. I don't normally complain about these things, but it is wretched.

Thanks for the gluten free options; but you might try checking out Clif Bar's Kit's bar - awesome gluten free and delicious with nice flavors.... and no GMO too.

Clif's Kit's bar is also organic.

Wow. I think the Evolution Bars are pretty good.  Particularly the Soybean Pepita.  Low sugar, decent amount of protein and very filling.

Thank you for the feedback on the new bars.  Some of you have shared you don’t like the bars.  We would love more specific feedback.  Tell us what specifically you do or don’t like about the bars.  We’re listening.

What happened to Two Moms In The Raw? They are organic and healthy. Now I have to order them and take them with me in Star Bucks when I get a drink. If you are eating gluten free and trying to eat a healthy filling snack, Star Bucks doesn't have anything any more.

Why aren't these snacks kosher? What animal by products are in these snacks to prevent the snacks from being certified Kosher??? What happened to your firm and their commitment to make their products healthy???

These seem healthier/less sweet than the Kind bars.  I love them and wish I could by them cheaper in bulk at the grocery store.

I like that they have so many seeds which are excellent for boosting immunity.

I wish you would bring back the KIND bars.  My wife and I stop at Starbucks regualarly, usually for breakfast. She can't live without her Lattes.  Being Gluten Free for medical reasons, I would get a couple Kind bars (dark chocholate sea salt or peanut butter chicolate protien) since you offer no other GF food items.

I have two major issues with the Evolution Bars. First, they taste bad. Way too stickey and sweet.

Secondly, the wraper claims certified GF, but the ingediant label warns they are made on equipment used to process wheat!  How can you claim GF?????

Until you get some ligitimate GF food, I'll get my breakfast and coffee elsewhere.

First time ever posting online so this must be important to me.  First let me say I miss the 2 Moms In The Raw bars.  Second, as a celiac I am amazed that the Evolution Harvest Dried Fruit has no nutritional information on line.  I am having a reaction (not life threatening) that typically happens when I eat gluten typically through cross contamination.  I did look at the ingredients and manufacturing information and did not see anything that would alarm me not to eat this product.  So to double check I have been all over the internet, including the Evolution site and the Starbucks site.

Lastly, I am amazed that Starbucks a company that usually gets it, really has not fully understood the need for Gluten Free Certified (not just Gluten Free) products.  In looking at all of the above posts it appears that most are not happy with this change of products.

I do trust that you read these posts and will take action.

I am a celiac and agree that you NEED gluten free SOMETHING!!!

I receive all those offers to try these great food items that are not GF.

I would love to be able to actually have coffee and enjoy something with it!!

I do not care for the Evolution gluten free bars.  They have no taste.  Also, you don't always carry the gluten free ones.  I picked up a regular one by mistake yesterday and it made me sick.  My vote is for Larabar Uber Bars...Roasted Nut Roll...yum!

For a socially responsible company, I am surprised how ignorant Starbucks is to their food choices. No GF baked options, no focus around no GMO,s.

I've had lots of bars and the Evolution bars aren't good (at least to my liking).  I've tried most of them that you carry.  I've taken one bite and thrown them away.  You asked earlier why they weren't good.  One of the bars wasn't even held together- it was falling apart.  The texture and taste weren't good.  The cocoa one was way too sweet. The kind bars were soooooo much better.  Lara bars and Kind bars are much, much better.  I miss the kind bars.  You guys are trying and the Evolution seem healthy- they just aren't yummy.  I really want them to be!  Thanks.

These bars are NOT gluten free, read the labels!  Not safe for Celiacs.  It says certified gluten free right on the label, not true.
