Almondmilk is here!

I am thrilled to announce that almondmilk, one of the top My Starbucks Idea requests of all time, will arrive in our US stores this September.

Starting September 6, Starbucks Almondmilk will be available in more than 4,600 company-operated and licensed stores in the Pacific Northwest, Northern California, New York, Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, kicking off a nationwide rollout that will be complete by the end of September.

Our almondmilk was developed by the Starbucks R&D team to pair perfectly with our hot, iced and Frappuccino® blended beverages.  It is creamy and delicious with a pleasant nutty flavor and only 3 grams of sugar per 8 ounce serving.  One of my favorite ways to enjoy it is in our Latte Macchiato espresso beverage, served hot or iced.

As an almondmilk drinker myself, I have been eagerly awaiting this exciting new product’s arrival in our stores.  I invite you to order it in your favorite Starbucks® beverage and let us know what you think!

HALLELUJAH!

It's about time woke up to the reality that is today's coffee shop market, and not let others continue to take advantage of the almond milk market whilst Starbucks stands its ground claiming 'cross contamination' and 'allergies', as a reason for not offering it.  Risks as have been stated time and time again by customer, and those moderators at Starbucks have been grossly overblown and exaggerated, not backed up by any factual evidence.  The CDC in the United States regarding deaths from all food allergies, including nuts and tree nuts, is often less than 200 per year (combined) out of a population of 330,000,000.  And, since so many other coffee shops already offer almond milk (and have so for many years), including steaming it, reports of people dropping dead in those locations because of the risk would certainly have made the news by now!

So, THANK YOU STARBUCKS FOR RECOGNIZING WHAT SO MANY OTHERS ALREADY HAVE!  It has been long overdue.

YES!!! As a vegan, I too have been awaiting a nut milk addition for YEARS! My only concern is that Starbucks does their homework and NOT choose a milk made with 'Carrageenan".  While this ingredient is supposedly deemed 'safe' it can cause much damage to the gastro intestinal track when continually consumed.  It is only added as an ingredient to 'mix' the milk ingredients together which would not be needed if the container instructed to "shake before each use'.  Here is only one of many articles on 'Carrageenan'. Please have a read.  Thank you :)

I'm just sad that it is unflavored. I enjoyed the sweet vanilla hint of a flavor to the soy to help sweeten your drink up a bit more while the almond milk doesn't really do it the same for me.

Please take the hidden sugar out of the Almond milk.  I don't like sweetened coffee.  You already offer sugar, why do you have to make us drink it when we don't want it.

Hey wait, I want organic coffee to go at Starbucks, its time for this choice. So many of us eat organically at home. Why not on the run.

Fantastic news. I prefer my almond milk raw, but this is a nice option to have that I will enjoy I'm sure.

Hi, I am interested in seeing if Starbucks will have decaffeinated flavored coffees in the grocery stores in the near future. I have a heart condition and can't drink caffeinated coffees so I have to drive to Starbucks if I want  a one of your decaf coffees. I would love to have the ability to go to a store and buy a 4 pack of Starbucks's decaffeinated coffees once in a while instead of running to one of your stores. Is this something Starbucks has thought about or is currently working on? Thank you.

Will it be at an extra charge like soy?  Because neither are that differently priced in the grocery stores?

I agree with some of the other comments, This is fantastic news for people sensitive to dairy like myself. I would also like to see it unsweetened. Please consider making unsweetened almond milk available. I would be a frequent flyer again then!

Thank you!

What a way to RUIN a good cup of coffee !!

I have tried Almond Milk as a possible substitute for the Almond Syrup that Starbucks stupidly discontinued. I had to throw it away ! It was discusting
