Launched: A Macchiato for Hazelnut Lovers

Looking through your comments, we noticed something. There are some of you who like to add Hazelnut syrup to your Caramel Macchiatos. And we’ll admit it – that’s a great flavor combination! But as we considered this idea and experimented in our test kitchens, we realized something: A Hazelnut Macchiato could be pretty dang good on its own. And that’s what we’re introducing today. Hello, Thanks for sharing your ideas with us regarding our offering Starbucks K-cups for the Keurig Single-Cup Brewing System. I’m happy to share with you that recently Starbucks and Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (GMCR) announced a strategic relationship to offer Starbucks® and Tazo® K-Cup® portion packs to consumers. Starbucks will be the exclusive, licensed super-premium coffee brand produced by GMCR for the Keurig Single-Cup brewing system. The company plans to make Starbucks K-Cup portion packs available through food, drug, mass, club, specialty and department store retailers throughout the U.S. and Canada beginning in the fall of 2011. Our commitment to you, our customers, is to serve the highest quality products available. As our customers you expect and deserve better – and we promise to do better. One of the fun things about working on MyStarbucksIdea is that sometimes an idea comes in to the site and to the company at large that is so timely and perfectly expressed that everyone both in the community and the company immediately gets excited about it On 10/7 BillMac posted an idea called " Free Cup of Starbucks Coffee for Voters " and a similar theme was echoed by JavaOcha, Geraldo, rsj211, epiphanygalore, and a few others. Basically all of you thought it would be a great idea to encourage voting by offering free coffee to those who vote. BillMac’s idea rocketed to the top 10 of currently popular ideas.
