myStarbucks iPhone App Updated Today

Just in time for the holidays, we've updated our iPhone (and iPod touch) App to include Starbucks new seasonal (and delicious) beverages and food. A new feature that I love is that you can now share what you’re drinking (and which store you’re drinking it in) with your friends on Facebook® and Twitter™. We’re already putting together the next App, so you can expect more new features soon. Also, I know you want myStarbucks on other platforms, and that is something I work on every day. Hi, I’m Stuart Benzal of United Airlines and I love coffee everywhere I go. Since there must be others like me out there, I’m thrilled that United has joined with Starbucks to offer Starbucks VIA™ to our customers in addition to the delicious fresh-brewed Starbucks coffee we serve on every flight.

We’re selling Starbucks VIA™ Ready Brew Colombia three-packs on North American flights that last more than two hours. In addition, I encourage you to try some of our Choice Menu snack boxes available for purchase onboard – we’re including a single pack of Starbucks VIA™ in some of them for a limited time.

Dave Matthews Band Listening Party

My name is Holly Hinton and I work on the Starbucks Entertainment team. A few weeks ago, I posted a blog specifically for our partners (employees). I offered all partners who responded to my blog within 24 hours the chance to hear the new Dave Matthews Band album and host a listening party in their store before the CD even launches!

Hi, my name is Thomas Prowell and I was the editor of “The Way I See It” here at Starbucks, a program that many of you have had ideas about. If you don't know it, “The Way I See It” – or TWISI (pronounced "twizzy") as we liked to call it within Starbucks –was a series of quotes from all sorts of interesting people that appeared on our paper cups from 2005 until earlier this year.

Well, Chris Anderson, curator of TED (a conference of leading thinkers in technology, entertainment and design) and author of TWISI #95, has thought up a nifty way to continue the TWISI conversation in this Web 2.0 era.

Tell us your Idea…in 12 seconds!

We know you have a lot of great ideas for Starbucks. But, can you share your idea in just 12 seconds? That is exactly what we asked our shareholders to do at this year’s Annual Meeting.

Each year, Starbucks invites shareholders to attend the Annual Shareholders Meeting in Seattle. This year we gathered on March 18 and the MyStarbucksIdea team greeted and talked with shareholders, showed them the MyStarbucksIdea website, and listened to their ideas for Starbucks.

We met many people and had great discussions around coffee, community, value, food, and healthy options at Starbucks. While waiting for the doors to open, shareholders shared their ideas for Starbucks on this website as well as on video! There was one fun twist to the video submissions though; customers had to tell us their idea for Starbucks in just 12 seconds! Check out some of the 12 second ideas we captured below and if you want to create your own or respond to one of the existing ideas, please do so on the Starbucks Channel on 12seconds.tv. But remember, just 12 seconds. Have fun!
