another reason to skip starbucks...altho I heard the GF cake was priced higher than the usual offerings (from the gf lady who happedned to be in line behind me!) ( there are more than one of us.

Please consider resuming, maybe use local gf backeries?

Everytime I go to Starbucks they tell me it's discontinued? How the hell is it discontinued 2 months after it's rollout?

And, speaking for myself, I do not want to go to Starbucks for a "healthy snack" I want to go for something rich and delicious, just like everyone else who goes there to get their lemon pound cake. I don't know what orthorexic focus group you were listening to when you decided to stop carrying this product but they do not represent the celiac community as a whole. We eat ice cream, chicken nuggets and doughnuts. Ask Kinnikinnick Foods ask Bell and Evans...ask Betty Crocker. WE EAT CAKE. A kind bar is not going to make me want to go to your store. I'll be sticking to McDonalds for coffee in future, at least they have delicious gluten free sundaes!

And the cake didn't disappoint - it's better than anything I've been able to make at home! Keep up the good work! It really makes a difference for those of us who can't have gluten.

By the way - many of us are also lactose intolerant, and soy milk isn't technically gluten-free. Will we be seeing a lactose-free skim cow's milk in the near future?

It is very tasty and filling and I definitely will order it again. Thank you Starbucks for offering such a wonderful treat for the wheat sensitive/celiac community!

Looking forward now to maybe a nice quick lunch offering? (or am I asking for too much :-)? Perhaps a special lunch kit with gluten free crackers, cheese and fruit?
