But I liked the egg florentine one best, and sometimes I would stop in a Starbucks and get one. (I'm not a big fan of the milky sweet coffee drinks that everyone seems to love, the regular coffee is too bitter, and I no longer work near a Starbucks, so Starbucks is otherwise not usually a destination for me, other than to buy coffee beans.) When a Starbucks opened near my house, I was looking forward to enjoying egg florentine sandwiches. I went in to get one this morning-- and I stared at the menu, wondering what happened. The only spinach option was a sad wrap with eggwhites. I got a ham, egg and cheddar sandwich, but it was eh, the egg part with a weird spongy consistency. The Starbucks atmosphere is a whole lot nicer than McDonalds, but for a breakfast sandwich to go, I may as well go to McDonald's or a deli, which offers the same standard combination--with a more identifiable egg--for less. If you bring back the florentine, let me know.

It would be so great if Starbucks, would carry GF options, I visit almost daily cafes and being recently diagnosed with Celiac, makes quick options at my favorite coffee shops, truly difficult. I would go to Starbucks even more if I knew I could safely grab a snack there too. I would love to see GF muffins, pumpkin/banana breads, GF chocolate, GF, cookies, GF crackers and even cheese, or salads with dressing (that are labelled saftely GF). These products must be very clearly labelled and protected from cross contamination from all other products. Signs would be great, also baristas telling customers is great as well. It would be great also for lists of GF drinks. That way it's very clear as too what is safe. This is so great! I'm so glad Starbucks is thinking of GF options. I can't wait.... Also I gave yet to see the Ameretii cookies you mention....

Also...my favorite....GF biscotti!
