I wanted to share some changes we’re making to help customers better understand their brewed coffee choices. Starting today, 6/29, all of our U.S. Company-Operated and Licensed Stores will begin displaying new signage

re: Brewed Coffee Calendar – Bold Pick of the Day

I've read many comments on this site regarding the disgust your customers feel towards the Pike's Place brew. The feelings expressed are intense. I agree with them. Starbuck's may be saving a few bucks right now by selling this swill to the public but they're going to lose more than they've gained in damage control. Wake up Starbuck's, loyal customers are drifting away.

Not all your stores are offering to brew up a special cup of bold when only the Pike's Place is being offered. I didn't even know it was an option till I read about it on this site.

Now why use 9/29? Why not just continue? How can it hurt? And I too agree with Carl Black. Make PPB an option and offer the varietal bold first. If you get folks to taste it, they might buy the bagged coffee!

All customers and staff complain loudly about it. There are simply no fans. Apparently SBUX did test marketing on McD's customers and concluded that serving swill would get those people into the stores. Well, other than the folks bringing in their teenagers for iced blended beverages, those potential customers are still at the same drive-thru getting fast food garbage. Can you just sell the PPR brand to McD's or BK and be done with this nonsense?
