Nowhere on the coupon or in the promotion did you even hint at the idea that the number of "free" pastries was limited. You listed the items, and then refuse to honor the coupon despite the fact that those exact pastries are sitting in the pastry case while the promotion is still going on.

Nicely done.

Horrible execution. I was at store #2749 at 7th&E St NW, Washington, DC. The line was to the door and the store manager announced that they were out of pastries associated with the free offer, but the display cabinet was stocked. The store manager said the items in the display were not part of the offer. I bought an apple fritter which is one of the items in the fine print that is included with the offer. Yes, the fine print says supplies limited. I'm just wondering how the average customer is supposed to look at an apple fritter sitting comfortably in the display cabinet and determine if it's part of the offer. Most of the people in line walked out of the store. They also vented their frustration on the staff who had nothing to do with planning this offer. SBUX lost a ton of trust today. What will you do to earn it back?

I don't want your free pastry.

Thanks for nothing.
